The timing light that is shown as a useful tool is not meant to be particular for your model. These pages are simply copied and pasted from all of the Clymer's manuals. I have even seen such misleading information examples as showing a feeler gauge set, for checking ignition points.
The computer determines the exact timing after the basic orientation is made.
